The Francis Institute raises up Catholic missionaries who live among the poor they serve, proclaim the Gospel, and strengthen the local Church through continued discipleship. Our missionaries build community from the ground up where the Faith can be authentically lived out and passed on.

As the world continues to grow and the need for evangelization increases, the Church calls the laity—renewed in apostolic zeal—to live as missionary disciples.
The Francis Institute exists to form, equip, and send lay Catholic missionaries. Through a life of prayer, authentic Christian community, and service, our missionaries learn to discern God's call, believing that mission begins wherever God has planted us while remaining open to wherever the Holy Spirit and the needs of the Church may lead.
