Our Mission in

Bangladesh

The Francis Institute serves alongside the local Catholic Church in Bangladesh, supporting communities through education, healthcare, family life, and long-term accompaniment. In a country where Christians are a small minority, our missionaries seek to witness to Christ through humble service, authentic relationships, and daily acts of charity.

Working in partnership with the local bishop, priests, religious sisters, and community leaders, we strive to strengthen the local Church by witnessing to Christ, accompanying families, building community, and serving the poor with respect for the culture, traditions, and laws of the communities we serve.

WITNESS TO CHRIST

Our missionaries seek to make Christ's love visible through joyful service, integrity, compassion, and faithful relationships. By walking alongside the people they serve with humility and respect, they bear witness to the Gospel through their lives and actions.
BUILD UP THE CHURCH

Working in close collaboration with the local Church, our missionaries accompany Catholic families, support parish life, and encourage the ongoing formation of those already entrusted to the Church's care.
BUILDING COMMUNITY

Strong communities are built through trust, presence, and mutual support. Our missionaries collaborate with local leaders, schools, and parish communities to foster relationships that encourage hope, unity, and lasting friendship.
SERVING THE POOR

Whether supporting educational opportunities, assisting with healthcare, accompanying families through difficult circumstances, or responding to practical needs, we strive to uphold the dignity of every person through compassionate service.
